Since becoming University in 2002, the demand for resources has increased manifold. The GCU admissions system is merit based. Therefore, a large number of students of modest families also get admission but they are unable to bear their academic expenses. Every year, about 2000 students apply for financial aid and about 10% benefit from the budgeted sum. We intend that not a single deserving student is left out who needs financial aid to carry on his studies. Your financial help can not only bring qualitative change in the life of a student but also in the life of his/her family.

The donations are not spent, only the income earned on the donations are used by the trust. So your donation lives in perpetuity like Sadiqa-e-Jarya. The philanthropists, especially Old Ravians are invited to come forward and donate for an excellent cause. As you know, a university is as good as its resources are.

Each donor’s name is recorded permanently on the donors scroll and their donations remain untouched forever as part of policy.

NPO Certification Award

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy has awarded ‘NPO Certification Award’ to the GCU Endowment Fund Trust. Now all donations for the trust would have tax exemption.
